A week left

I'm leaving next Wed. and I haven't made much progress since my last post.

I blame the snow.

My First Post

I've decided I need to get over any hesitations I have over leaving New York for London in a little less than three weeks. Perhaps writing it down will make it more apparent that I'm leaving. So here's my attempt to get excited. (Can't you sense the enthusiasm?)

This is a little summary of what's going on:

I'm leaving on January 5th on a 10:40 pm flight out of JFK and landing in Heathrow at 11 am, January 6th.

I'll be gone for 5 months, and I'm heading to the UK with my friend Eissell.

I haven't started packing, haven't applied for my visa (I need one to work), haven't figured out my proper address, haven't researched any clubs/bars/things to do in London.

I've been trying to watch British movies like A Room With a View and Bridget Jones Diary, but it's all fruitless.

Why suddenly am I anxious about leaving when I've wanted this since High School?

I'm thinking when I get there it'll be incredible. And I promise to post lots of pictures!
